Day 1: Arrival in Manado – Transfer to Tomohon
Welcome to North Sulawesi! Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, your guide will meet you and escort you to the cool highlands of Tomohon, a charming town surrounded by volcanic peaks. Check in at a cozy hotel or resort and relax after your journey. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Minahasan dinner at a local restaurant or resort. Overnight in Tomohon

Day 2: Mahawu Volcano – Tu’ur Maasering Experience – Minahasan Cooking Class
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Tomohon’s Traditional Food and Flower Market, one of the liveliest in the region. Shop for ingredients with your local chef for today’s cooking class. Then drive through scenic farms to Mount Mahawu, where you’ll enjoy a gentle trek to the crater rim. From here, savor panoramic views of Manado Bay, Mount Lokon, and even the Bunaken Islands. Continue to Tu’ur Maasering, a cultural space shaded by Areca palm trees, where you’ll learn about traditional "Cap Tikus" (local moonshine) distillation. Enjoy a rustic Minahasan lunch served here. In the late afternoon, head to Woloan Village and settle into a private hut in the middle of lush rice fields. Take part in a hands-on Minahasan cooking class using traditional tools and techniques. Overnight in Tomohon

Day 3: Minahasa Highland Discovery
Start your highland tour with a visit to the serene Vihara Buddhayana, home to a reclining Buddha and peaceful pagodas. Continue to Lake Linow, famous for its changing colors and geothermal activity. A short walk leads you to bubbling mud pools and steamy vents. Next, drive to Pulutan Village to observe traditional pottery-making, then onward to Lake Tondano. Enjoy lunch by the lake near local fish farms. After lunch, continue to Toraget for a relaxing soak in natural hot spring pools said to have healing properties. End the day at Pa'Dior North Sulawesi Cultural Center. Overnight in Tomohon.

Day 4: White Water Rafting – Sawangan Sarcophagi – Tangkoko
Today’s adventure begins with an early drive to Warga Adventure Basecamp in Sawangan for an exhilarating white water rafting experience on Sawangan River (grade 3+). After the thrill, enjoy coffee and snacks at the basecamp. Continue with a short visit to the Sawangan Sarcophagi Park. After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Tangkoko Nature Reserve. Check into a homestay and later enter the forest at dusk to search for the Spectral Tarsier, the world’s smallest primate. Overnight in Tangkoko.

Day 5: Tangkoko – Tunan Waterfall – Manado
Begin your day early with a sunrise wildlife walk in Tangkoko. Encounter Celebes Crested Macaques, Sulawesi Bear Cuscus, Hornbills, and other unique species. After breakfast, check out and travel back toward Manado. En route, take a refreshing stop at Tunan Waterfall. After lunch, check into your Manado hotel. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll along Manado Bay in the Mega Mas area and enjoy coffee at a waterfront café. Evening dinner at a local seafood restaurant. Overnight in Manado

Days 6–8: Bunaken Marine Park Snorkeling Excursion
After breakfast, transfer to the harbor and set off by boat to Bunaken Island, part of the Bunaken Marine National Park. Check in at a beach resort. Over the next three days, enjoy guided snorkeling trips each morning to stunning coral walls and vibrant reef gardens around Bunaken and Siladen Islands. Afternoons are free to relax or explore. 3 nights on Bunaken Island.

Day 9: Bunaken – Manado – Departure
After breakfast, take a boat transfer back to the mainland. Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Sam Ratulangi International Airport for your onward journey.

Payment Terms & Conditions

To secure your reservation, a deposit of at least 50% of the total trip cost is required. Please note that your booking will remain tentative until this payment is received. We will hold your reservation for up to 7 days from the time of booking to allow time for the deposit transfer. If payment is not received within this period, we reserve the right to release the booking without further notice.

Booking Amendments:
Date changes may be accommodated after a deposit has been made, depending on availability at the time of the request.

Cancellation & Final Payment Policy

  • Deposit: Non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • No Show: Will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.
  • All payments must be made in full and free of any bank or transfer fees, which are the responsibility of the sender.

Rangga Trails – Tour Terms & Conditions

Booking & Deposit

  • To confirm your reservation with Rangga Trails, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.
  • Reservations will be held for up to 7 calendar days to allow time for payment. If the deposit is not received within this period, the booking may be automatically released.

Final Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.
  • For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • All payments must be net of transfer fees or bank charges, which are the responsibility of the guest.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Changes & Modifications

  • Requests to change tour dates, names, or services are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.
  • Rangga Trails will do its best to accommodate reasonable changes.

Minimum Numbers & Tour Cancellation

  • Some tours have a minimum participant requirement. If this is not met, Rangga Trails reserves the right to cancel or propose alternatives.
  • In case of cancellation, all payments will be refunded in full. Rangga Trails is not responsible for related travel or accommodation costs.

Travel Insurance

  • All guests are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, accidents, delays, personal belongings, and high-risk activities.
  • Proof of insurance may be required for certain adventure tours.

Health & Fitness Requirements

  • Participants must ensure they are physically fit and medically cleared for the activities in the tour.
  • Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs must be disclosed during booking.
  • We reserve the right to decline or remove a guest from a tour if their participation endangers themselves or others.

High-Risk Activities

  • Tours involving white water rafting, mountain climbing, paragliding, and similar activities carry inherent risks.
  • Guests agree to follow all safety instructions provided by guides or partners.
  • Participants may be asked to sign a waiver of liability before joining high-risk activities.

Equipment

  • Rangga Trails provides standard equipment where specified.
  • Participants are responsible for the care of provided equipment. Damage or loss due to negligence may incur replacement costs.

Changes to Itinerary

  • Rangga Trails reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, local conditions, or safety concerns.
  • We will strive to provide equivalent alternatives where possible.

Liability Disclaimer

Rangga Trails, its employees, guides, and partners are not liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest
  • Government restrictions, health protocols
  • Transportation failures or delays
  • Force majeure

Photography & Media Use

  • Photos/videos taken during the tour may be used for Rangga Trails’ marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Guests who do not wish to appear in media must notify us in writing before the tour.

We expect all participants to respect local cultures, traditions, and communities.
Minimize environmental impact and follow Leave No Trace principles.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
