Day 1: Arrival in Jayapura
Arrive in Jayapura, the gateway to Papua. You’ll be met by our team and transferred to your hotel. Rest, refresh, and prepare for your tribal adventure. (L, D)
Day 2: Flight to Wamena – Jiwika Exploration
Take a morning flight into the Baliem Valley. Drive to Jiwika to explore traditional Dani villages, crossing hanging bridges and meeting the locals. Overnight in a cozy guesthouse. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Dani Tribal Ceremonies
Experience a full-day immersion into Dani traditions—mock battles, fire-starting, pig feasts, and mummy viewing. Return to Wamena for the night. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Missionary Flight to Yaniruma
Take a scenic charter flight to Yaniruma, on the edge of the Korowai jungle. Meet local guides and settle in at a basic guesthouse. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Canoe to Dambol – Enter the Jungle
Cross the Dairam Kabur River by canoe, then trek into dense rainforest to Dambol. Overnight in simple shelters or a treehouse. (B, L, D)
Days 6–8: Korowai Treehouse Experience
Over the next three days, journey deeper into Korowai territory. Witness daily life: sago gathering, fishing, hunting, trap-setting, and spiritual rituals. Overnight in tents or treehouses. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Trek to Basman – Korowai & Citak Mitak Border
Continue your trek to Basman Village, where the Korowai and Citak Mitak cultures meet. Overnight in a traditional village house. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Canoe Journey to Jinak via Senggo
Board a motorized canoe and head downstream through thick jungle and riverside villages to Jinak. Overnight in a rustic village house. (B, L, D)
Day 11: River Journey to Asmat Village
Continue the river journey through Wildemann and Sirets rivers to reach a remote Asmat village near Atsy. Overnight in a men's house or school. (B, L, D)
Day 12: Asmat Ceremonial Day
A day of rich cultural immersion—see elaborate woodcarving displays, traditional dances, canoe parades, and the symbolic Mbist pole raising ceremony. (B, L, D)
Day 13: Return to Agats – Explore Town & Museum
Sail to Agats and explore the Asmat Museum, filled with incredible tribal art. Enjoy your final tribal evening at Asmat Inn. (B, L, D)
Day 14: Fly to Wamena via Ewer
Take a motorized canoe to Ewer Airstrip, then board a missionary flight back to Wamena. Overnight at Baliem Pilamo Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 15: Return to Jayapura – Departure
Fly to Jayapura with Trigana Air for your onward flight. End of expedition. (B)

To secure your reservation, a deposit of at least 50% of the total trip cost is required. Please note that your booking will remain tentative until this payment is received. We will hold your reservation for up to 7 days from the time of booking to allow time for the deposit transfer. If payment is not received within this period, we reserve the right to release the booking without further notice.
Booking Amendments:
Date changes may be accommodated after a deposit has been made, depending on availability at the time of the request.

- Deposit: Non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No Show: Will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.
- All payments must be made in full and free of any bank or transfer fees, which are the responsibility of the sender.
